Just an update. I never did hear from Avermedia support, so I returned their products. The Diamond One Touch Video Capture VC500 device arrived. I connected the device, installed the drivers, turned on the VCR and hit play, fired up PD 14, selected the input device which correctly found the Diamond product only, no video. Oct 6, 2012. #1. I now am trying to get a Diamond Multimedia vc 500 video capture device to work but the driver does not appear to be loading properly. The VCR connects to the VC500 using RCA cables, and the VC500 connects to my laptop through the USB port. I am using EZ Grabber to play the video. Video appears just fine on my screen, but the audio fails to play. I don#x27;t think it#x27;s an issue with the audio ports, and I have installed the most recent software/drivers from Diamond.
